I am an internist, addiction medicine physician, and writer in New York City. In addition to practicing general internal medicine at Bellevue Hospital in Manhattan, I take care of patients within the NYC jail system. My clinical work focuses on patients struggling with addiction and substance use, many of whom are incarcerated or have recently been released from jail or prison.
